Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan Head Coach, Gbenga Ogunbote has blamed the defeat to Abia Warriors in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, to the inability of his players to manage the lead. 

3SC had taken the lead via Anayo Ogbonna in the 39th minute at the Umuahia Township Stadium before the hosts came back to pick the maximum points. 

Ogunbote in his post-match reactions, noted that he will take the positives from the game and ensure that the team doesn't repeat such mistakes in subsequent games. 

He said: "We were unable to manage the lead even though we conceded the first goal, we had the opportunity. All we need to do is to take the positives. 

"The positives is left for me and the players. We have seen the game. It has been won and lost. We still have some things to discuss with our players so that such mistakes are not committed in the next game." (BSN)
