John Obuh, a former U17 Golden Eaglets coach, U20 Flying Eagles coach and later Super Super Eagles Assistant is billed to deliver the key lecture at a one-day seminar for youth football coaches in Abia State tagged 'Abia State Youth Football Coaches Training' scheduled to hold on Monday, 4th September, 2023, in the capacity of Guest Speaker,  Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

Aside Obuh, who is also Executive Chairman of Abia Warriors Football Club, there are other high profile speakers lined up for the career lifting seminar on Monday.

They include former Chairman of Abia Comets FC, Coach Victor Nwakama and and Sir Charles Nwokeocha, a retired FIFA badged referee and Chairman, Technical Sub-Committee of Abia State Football Association.

Exclusivenews.com.ng understands that the event is being organised by the Youth Football Sub-Committee of Abia State Football Association headed by Patrick Ngwaogu, also a veteran journalist and publisher in conjunction with the Executive Board of the Abia State Football Association headed by Rev Dr Obioma Onyeaghala (Revoo).

Organisers said the programme will hold at 10am on the scheduled date at the State FA Secretariat on Ochendo Bypass, before the Ministry of Justice, Umuahia, the state capital.

According to organisers, the programme is aimed at equipping the youth coaches with modern coaching methodology to ensure optimum performance.

It would be recalled that among other strides in his coaching career, John Obuh led the U17 National Team, Golden Eaglets to a silver medal finish at the 2009 FIFA U17 World Cup finals, tagged Nigeria 2009.

The Youth Football Sub-Committee of the Abia State Football Association led by Mr Patrick Ngwaogu in conjunction with the Abia State Football Association Executive Board led by Rev Dr Obioma Onyeahala (Revoo) is organising "ABIA STATE YOUTH FOOTBALL COACHES TRAINING "
