The ₦300 million donations received by the  veteran Actor John Okafor (Mr Ibu) is tearing his family apart. 

Reports had it that the ailing actor who was recently amputated on his leg, that Mr Ibu’s son and adopted daughter, Jasmine, have been arrested over N300 million donated for his medical treatment.

According to the report, the duo withdrew the said amount out of the donations account meant for the actor. It was made known that they have been detained at Alagbon police station.

Also, it was stated that the actor’s wife allegedly planned to buy herself a new house with the money before the son and adopted daughter outsmarted her.

There have been several crisis within Ibu’s family following the donations received from the actor’s well-wishers. He cried out some months back about his illness and received massive support from Nigerians. His leg has however amputated to keep him alive.

Mr. Ibu’s wife and his adopted daughter, Jasmine have been dragging each other on the social media and laying several accusations against themselves since the actor got ill.

This revelation was made by actress Doris Ogaga. Actress Doris Ogala alleged that Jasmine and Mr. Ibu’s sons have been arrested for moving out N300 million from the account meant for Mr. Ibu’s treatment.
