Following recent rumors that veteran Nollywood actor Zack Orji had died, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, has debunked the claim.

Rollas took to his Instagram page to warn the public not to spread misleading information about the actor. His post said, "Mr Zack Orji is alive. Please ignore mischief makers who enjoy circulating fake news. This is to show how wicked some people can be. It is totally unacceptable." 

The rumors appear to have stemmed from news of Orji's hospitalization in December 2023. According to media reports at the time, Orji was unable to talk and walk after slumping in his toilet at home and was later admitted into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for treatment.
