A 55-year-old woman, identified as Ifeoma, tragically passed away on September 8, 2024, after collapsing while sharing a testimony during Sunday service at the Ministry Church in Ejigbo, Lagos State. The incident occurred around 8:48 am, and despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, she was pronounced dead.

According to the state police command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, Ifeoma had gone to the front of the church to give her testimony, singing songs of gratitude, when she suddenly slumped. She was later referred to the General Hospital in Isolo, where she was confirmed dead.

The police report states that the church's zonal accountant reported the incident, and detectives were sent to the hospital to investigate. However, by the time they arrived, the husband and family of the deceased had already taken the corpse to Anambra State for burial.
