The immediate past Student Union Director of Sports of Nasarawa State University Abdullahi Mohammed "Kekere" celebrated his signing out parade at the University in a grand style on Thursday, 14th December, 2023. 

Kekere as he is fondly called wore a T - Shirt with an emotional  inscription in honour and appreciation of his benefactor Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi, the Proprietor FOSLA Academy, Karshi who sponsored his education from secondary school through the University. 

The inscription " Thank you for being my guiding light" became  the cynosure of all eyes in the school, as students struggled to sign on the shirt. 

Abdullahi Mohammed who was among the pioneer students of the Fosla Academy in 2010/2011 graduated with honours degree in Political Science.

He was a member of the Fosla Academy team that won silver at the 2016 edition of the Shell/NNPC All Secondary Schools Football Championship after winning the first edition of the FCT Principals Cup. He won the NUGA soccer bronze medal for Nasarawa University and Silver medal for FCT at the  2022 edition of the National Sports Festival in soccer. He is a member of the Fosla Football Club in the Nigeria Nationwide League.
