The State Chairman of the National Association for Physical, Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD), Delta State Chapter, Godspower Odedede, has extended warm congratulations to Prof. J.E.F Okpako on his emergence as the State Chairman of the National Association of Athletics Technical Officials (NAATO), Delta State Chapter.

 

In a heartfelt message, Odedede described Prof. Okpako’s victory as “well-deserved,” praising his unwavering dedication, professionalism, and deep passion for the growth and development of athletics in Delta State and across Nigeria.

 

He noted that Prof. Okpako’s leadership and technical brilliance have consistently set high standards of excellence within the athletics community.

 

Odedede further reaffirmed the commitment of NAPHER-SD Delta State to collaborate closely with NAATO under Prof. Okpako’s leadership. He stated that both bodies will work together to strengthen athletics officiating, enhance capacity-building initiatives, and advance the sport at all levels within the state.

 

“Together, we will foster stronger structures, uphold best practices, and further enhance Delta State’s leading role in athletics,” he said.

 

He concluded with a prayer for wisdom, strength, and success for Prof. Okpako as he begins this new chapter of service.
