Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has made startling revelations about her experience with a Catholic priest, leading her to abandon church attendance.

In a recent interview with former radio broadcaster Daddy Freeze, Martins disclosed that she has not attended church for six years. She clarified that her decision was not driven by a loss of faith in God but rather a lack of trust in pastors.

Martins recounted an incident with a priest who propositioned her for a romantic relationship, promising her a lavish lifestyle. She stated, “Even in the Catholic church, the father there told me that if I agreed to date him and bear his children, he would fly me out and I’ll have the best life.”

Disturbed by the priest’s inappropriate behavior, Martins decided to distance herself from organized religion. She now prefers to maintain a personal relationship with God and pray from the comfort of her own home.

“I would rather stay in my house and pray to God than go to church and pray through a pastor who will start asking me out after church services,” she explained.
