The Plateau State Police Command don declare six people wanted over the mob killing of wedding guests wey happen for Mangun District inside Mangu Local Government Area on June 21, 2025.

 

Dem talk say the victims dey travel from Zaria for Kaduna State go attend wedding for Quan Pa’an LGA of Plateau State when dem miss road enter Mangun – one area wey don dey suffer bandit and terrorist attack for some time. Local youths, wey believe say na terrorists dey inside the bus, attack dem. Dem burn the bus wey carry 31 passengers, and about 22 people — including women and pikin — die for the attack.

 

The Commissioner of Police for Plateau State, Emmanuel Adesina, yarn dis tori give journalists on Sunday. E talk say 22 people don already land for police net, and 20 of dem don face court last Friday. The charges wey dem face include: criminal conspiracy, causing grievous hurt, mischief by fire, armed robbery, and culpable homicide. Court don send dem go Jos Correctional Centre.

 

But six of the main suspects, wey dem believe say na dem plan the whole wahala, still dey on the run. According to CP Adesina, “Na these people instigate the mob wey kill innocent wedding guests like say dem no be human being.”

 

The CP come assure people say police no go rest until dem catch everybody wey get hand for the evil wey happen. E say justice must prevail for the victims.
