Peace Efih on target as OFI Crete thrash Trikala in Greece
Nigeria’s Peace Ewomazino Efih was on target as Greek Division A women’s side thrashed Trikala 7-0 in a league clash on Sunday.
Vasso Kydonaki scored the first goal of the game in the 16th minute
Three minutes later, Nikola Rybanska doubled the lead before Efih made it 3-0 in the 58th minute.
Aqsa Mushataq scored the fourth ten minutes later while Valeria Koutsouri converted the fifth in the 79th minute
Rybanksa and Mushtaq scored two more goals to seal a 7-0 win and fourth straight victory for OFI Crete since their loss to Asteras Tripolis.
Efih has scored two goals in the Greek women’s league this season since moving from Portuguese side, Braga.
Her team occupies the second position in the league with 15 points from six games, three points behind AEK Athens and the same as third-placed Asteras Tripolis.
The team makes a trip to Panathinaikos on December 15, 2024.
