Michael FC, Olive Charles FA, Ozalla FA and Success FC have booked their tickets to the semi finals of the ongoing Onitsha Ex-Footballers in Disapora (ONEFID) Under-17 championship Cup.

The semi-final clashes which will be played on Saturday, 14th December 2024 at the Godwin Achebe Stadium, Fegge, Onitsha will see Olive Charles FA trading tackles with Success FC for a place in the grand finale by 2pm while the second semi-final clash between Michael FA versus Ozalla FA will be played by 4pm on the same day.

To get to this stage, Olive Charles FA topped the Group A with a total of 9 points and +7 goal difference having won all their group games while Ozalla FA finished second on the log with 6 points and +2 goal difference ahead of All Stars FC and Okagbue FC who finished third and bottom of the table respectively.

Michael FA on the other hand topped Group B with 7 points and +10 goal difference ahead of Success FC who finished second on the log with 4 points from three matches and a goal difference of +2 as Terich FA and Pagis FC were shown the exit doors.

The winner of the two semi-final matches will book their places in the finals of the competition scheduled to hold on Sunday, 7th January 2024 at the Godwin Achebe Stadium Onitsha.

This season will see the winner smile home with the sum of N1Million while the second, third and fourth placed teams will each go home with the sum of N500,000; N300,000 and 100,000 respectively.

The third edition of the 2024 Onitsha Unity Cup Under-17 championship which kicked off on Wednesday, November 27th, 2024 at the Godwin Achebe Stadium Onitsha is being bankrolled by Onitsha Ex-Footballers in Disapora (ONEFID).
