Nwangwu, Ex-ANSFA Sec To Be Investitured As Knight Of St Christopher
Sir Victor Nwangwu, former Secretary of Anambra State Football Association, ANSFA, will on Sunday, 4 January, 2026, be investitured into the knighthood of the St Christopher, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
Nwangwu, a former player and seasoned football administrator who has served in various capacities with the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has been a leading figure as the Anglican Communion, Diocese on the Niger, continue to drive its balance for youth spiritual balance with health and sporting activities.
Nwangwu is amongst the over 50 eminent faithful that will be called to the higher Anglican faith duty as Bishop Owen Nwokolo conductsthe investiture at the All Saints Cathedral Church, Onitsha on Sunday.
Exclusivenews.com.ng checks reveal that Nwangwu's selection for inclusion in the exalted list by the Bishop himself, followed years of dedicated and meritorious service to the Anglican Diocese on the Niger.
Nwangwu is head of Sports of the Anglica Diocese and has been in the front seat for all sporting activities of the church aimed at striking a balance between Anglican youths growth in faith and in physical balance through sports.
"I'm overwhelmed and I see this as a further call to service of God in whichever field one finds himself", Nwangwu, a former Rangers Stars said to Exclusivenews.com.ng.
"I'm remain eternally grateful to His Lordship, Bishop on the Niger, His Grace Bishop Owen Nwokolo, for finding me worthy for this investiture", Nwangwu added.
