The Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Comrade Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos, has officially appointed Kayode Adeniyi as the new General Manager of the NTA Sports Channel. Adeniyi’s appointment comes as part of the NTA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its sports coverage and broadcasting capabilities.

Prior to this role, Kayode Adeniyi served as the Head of News and Current Affairs at NTA Channel 5, located at the Old Parade Ground, Area 10, Garki, Abuja. His career has been marked by his extensive experience in sports journalism, having served as a seasoned sports writer and a two-time Chairman of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), FCT Chapter.

Adeniyi's appointment is effective immediately, and his wealth of experience is expected to bring further growth and innovation to the NTA Sports Channel.
