Abia Warriors Fc U-17 player George Bassey, says he is keen on improving his game after scoring a brace against Enyimba Fc in the ongoing NPFL U-17 youth league in Enugu.
The Cross River State born player, speaking with www.npfl.ng said he will continue to improve in every game he plays.
“Am happy scoring a brace today against a strong team like Enyimba Fc, I try to take every opportunity that come my way, and believe that a good footballer should know how to position himself to either score or defend well, and I had to take the chance in the game to score both goals”
George Bassey commended the organizers of the NPFL U-17 tournament, for giving young footballers a chance to showcase their talent.
“ I sincerely appreciate the NPFL and the NFF for organizing this tournament, because it will produce the future football stars for the country”
Abia Warriors Fc will on Friday, February 2nd, 2024, in their second game of the tournament play against oriental Neighbors Heartland Fc.
