Rojenny Stadium, Oba, near Onitsha, comes alive this Tuesday afternoon as the 2024 Neros Pharmaceutical Limited/Anambra State FA Cup enters its quarter final stage, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

Edel FC, a Nigeria National League, NNL side, and 2023 losing finalists, are billed to face Hopeland Football Academy, a Nationwide League One side in one of the quarter final fixtures.

Edel won the Neros Pharmaceuticals Ltd/Anambra FA Cup in 2022 and will now have to overcome the hard fighting NLO campaigners, Hopeland, in a potential gritty clash.

On Wednesday, 20 March, Black Smith FA will confront Solution FC, a Nigeria National League, NNL side, owned and funded by Anambra State Government, in the second quarter final match at Neros Stadium, Nanka.

Similarly, Cup holders, Ozalla FA will commence their title defence against Bishop Owen Nwokolo Football Academy, BONFA, in another quarter final fixture.

Twenty four hours later, Peace FC, Awka, will confront Remmy Uche FC for a place in the semi finals.

Recall that Neros Pharmaceuticals Limited has sponsored the Anambra FA Cup 17 consecutive years, starting from 2007.

The Neros Pharmaceuticals Limited has continued to reward the Cup winner with 2m, runners-up N1m and third placed team with N500, 000.

In 2012, Neros Pharmaceuticals Ltd won the Best Sponsor of State FA Cup in Nigeria.
