Natasha Osawaru, fiancée of musician 2Baba, has publicly addressed allegations that she used traditional beads to exert spiritual influence over him. In an interview with Stella Korkus, Osawaru refuted claims made by 2Baba's mother, Rose Idibia, stating that the beads are of cultural and sentimental significance.

Osawaru explained that the beads were a birthday gift, representing her heritage within the Igbinedion Royal Family. "Those beads were given to me on my birthday. They represent a princess from a royal family. You know I am from the Igbinedion Royal Family," she stated. She further detailed that the pearl necklace worn by 2Baba was a gift from her grandfather, received from the Queen of England.

Dismissing accusations of spiritual connotations, Osawaru clarified, "So they are just traditional beads, he liked them and wore them, there is nothing to it and are not diabolical and do not also contain juju." She emphasized that 2Baba chose to wear the beads, contradicting claims that she imposed them on him. "I did not wear them on him, he saw them and liked them and wore them," she said.

This statement follows public demands from 2Baba's mother for Osawaru to "free" her son, and requests for him to remove the beads.
