Heartland Step Up Preseason With Impressive Friendly Results

The management of Heartland Football Club of Owerri wishes to inform its esteemed supporters and stakeholders that the Naze Millionaires have intensified preparations ahead of the forthcoming Nigeria National League (NNL) season through a string of competitive friendly matches.

Under the guidance of Technical Manager, Emmanuel Amuneke, the team has continued to show steady progress and cohesion as preseason activities gather pace.

Our vision remains clear—to build a formidable squad capable of competing strongly at any level of Nigerian football. While challenges may arise, they serve only to toughen both players and coaches as the new campaign approaches.

So far, Heartland FC have played over ten preparatory matches, with only one defeat (against Enyimba International FC). Recent highlights include:

A 3-0 win over He Reigns FC of Port Harcourt while the tie with Campos FC ended in a 2-2 draw.

The team also beat Petson FC 2-0. Giant Brillars and Redeemed FC of Port Harcourt also lost 2-1 and 3-2 in that order.

City Boys of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State got bashed 3-0 while Ave International FC of Isinweke also lost 3-0 in another test game.

The club will continue to engage top-tier opposition in further warm-up games to ensure only the very best secure spots in the final squad.

Heartland FC Media Department assures our loyal supporters that the team is on the right path and will be fully ready to compete with pride when the NNL season kicks off.
