As the state Governor Dr Alex Otti commission 3 newly rehabilitated roads in Aba, the  Speaker of The Abia State House of Assembly Rt. Hon Emmanuel Ihuoma Emeruwa has expressed gratitude to the state Governor for his commitments towards improving the infrastructural status of the Aba.

The expression is contained in a statement issued on Saturday to welcome the Governor on official assignment to Aba, the epicenter of commerce and small Business enterprises.

The speaker who is the member representing Aba South state constituency at the  State House of Assembly further applauded the Governor for his persistent and  efforts in developing all the sectors of the state economy, adding that Dr Alex Otti is sincerely committed to fulfilling his campaign promises to Ndi Abia.

 

The Speaker also used the platform to implore Aba residents to be law abiding and detest acts capable of destroying the infrastructural facilities and other social amenities put in place by the government,

 avoiding disposal of wastes into the drains, discharging of chemicalised water from fish ponds on the road, burning of tyres on the tarred roads as well as paying their taxes and other statutory levies to Government.

He also appreciated the Governor for appointing a member of his constituency Mrs Chidinma Florence Nwogu as permanent secretary assuring that Mrs Nwogu who had in the past served the state as commissioner would deliver as expected while he congratulated the appointee.
