Rampant forward, Chidi Harmony scored a brace as Imo Strikers breezed past Fortress Ladies 3-1 to seal a place in the 2023 edition of Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup Championship holding at St Patrick's College, Asaba, Delta State, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

Harmony fired the Arugo Girls into a first half lead and compatriot terror striker, Oscar Precious, doubled the advantage early in the second half.

But the Nelly Orisakwe charges conceded for the first time in the competition when Fortress Ladies halved the deficit midway into the second period.

Angered by the goal, Harmony fell on her pace in a swift counter attacking football to restore her side's two goal advantage.

Incredibly, Harmony now has 10 goals in five games, scoring hattrick twice and brace twice to help the 2022 losing finalists reach the final of the 2023 edition of the championship.
