8 Qualifiers have emerged in the on going 2023 Gwagwalada Football League.

Bocknor Academy led Group A with 12 winning four matches from five, scoring seventeen goals and conceding four. They were followed by Justice Academy with ten points and plus four goals advantage. But, they will have to wait for the match between Catholic Cadet and Lion Heart to ratify their position.

In Group, it was Sensational Stars Academy that came out tops with 12 points, followed by Babayaro FC who finished with 10 points. NIIMA FC came out tops of Group C with 11 points, while PUMA FC came second with 10 points. Medical Strikers and Net Busters emerged in Group D. Medical Strikers finished with 11 points, while Net Busters made it 9 points.

The Gwagwalada Football Council and the Organizing Committee of the League will release the fixtures of the next round.

Meanwhile, the Gwagwalada FA Cup entered the third round of matches this week. It could be recalled that in the opening match of the day FA Cup, Boknor Academy defeated Diplomatic FC by a lone goal, while the match between PUMA FC and Babayaro FC ended five goals to four on penalties. Full time result was one goal at piece. Inspirational Sports defeated Young Stars by four goals to nil.
