Gov Alia Sack All Commissioners for Benue, Appoint New Chief of Staff
Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State don dissolve di State Executive Council (SEC), sack all commissioners and even im Chief of Staff.

According to Kula, Governor Alia break di news give council members after dem finish di 12th SEC meeting for 2025.
But e no leave everywhere empty – e quickly appoint former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Moses Atagher, as di new Chief of Staff. Di appointment take effect immediately.
For di statement, Kula hail Atagher as one “seasoned administrator” wey don serve before as acting Managing Director for Federal Mortgage Bank.
Governor Alia thank di commissioners wey don serve for im administration for the past two years.
“I dey grateful for una service to Benue State. Even if some of una no go return, abeg remain loyal to di party and continue to support government work. Dis change go give oda citizens chance to contribute to di growth of di state,” di governor talk.
E clear say na only commissioners di dissolution affect – apart from di new Chief of Staff wey don resume work.
Outgoing Commissioner, Bemsen Mnyim, talk on behalf of di rest:

Government don order all former commissioners to hand over to di Permanent Secretaries of dia ministries as soon as possible.
