Former Flying Eagles Goalkeeper Coach Suleiman  Shaibu  has joined Kano Pillars of Kano as the goalkeeper's trainer.

Shaibu who holds, CAF  B and C  Coaching Licenses, also attended the FIFA MA Goalkeeping Course. He is also a graduate of National Institute for Sports in Lagos, and School of Basic Studies, Kano. 

As a player, he manned the goal for Jigawa Golden Stars Football Club Dutse, Wikki Tourist Football Club Bauchi, Katsina United Football Club, Dantata Football Club, Kano, I.T.F. Football Club Jos,  Matasa Football Club, Kazaure, Jigawa, Bank of the North Football Club, Mighty Jet  Football Club of Jos (Nasco), Wreca Football Club of Kano, Raccah Rovers Football Club of Kano and Fagge Pele Football Club, of Kano.

Before joining Kano Pillars Football Club, the Kwara State born trainer, worked with the  National Under 23 & Home Base Super Eagles, Abia Warriors Football Club Umuahia,                            National Under 20 (Flying Eagles) Team,    El- Kanemi Warriors Football Club,         Rangers IntI Football Club Enugu,            Enyimba Intl Football Club Aba,  National Under 17 Golden Eagles Team, and Jigawa Golden Stars Football Club, Dutse.       

Shaibu who is presently with the Saimasugida exponents in Jos for the Gusau/Ahlan Preseason Tournament, has many laurels to his credit both as a coach and a player.
