Family Worship Football Club (FWC FC) of Abuja clinched the FCT President FA Cup on Saturday, February 22, 2025, by defeating defending champions EFCC FC 4-3 in a nail-biting penalty shootout after a thrilling 90-minute clash at the Area 3 Football Stadium.

Following the victory, FWC FC’s jubilant coach, Bunmi Haruna, expressed his commitment to making the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) proud as his team progresses to the Round of 64 in the Confederation Cup competition.

“As for us, we don’t fear any team. We are going to give our best to make FCT proud. It’s going to be 11 against 11 on the field,” Haruna affirmed.

He also reassured FCT residents of a formidable showing at the upcoming 2025 National President Cup. FWC FC will now advance to face teams from across the nation in the Round of 64.
