Enyimba FC Under-19 Tramples On Eagles Star FA In The Ongoing N-Youth League

It was a total display of beautiful football artistry and tactical master class as Enyimba FC Under-19 side trampled upon their opponents Eagles Star FA of Lagos.
The fixture which was a week 4 match of the ongoing N-Youth League which was played inside the mainbowl of The Enyimba International Stadium Aba saw the Young Elephants display their class and superiority over their opponents in a cold and rainy evening.
The Coach Joe Akuma tutored side started the game brightly as lots of early chances were created but failed to hit the target.
In the 21st minute, a quick Enyimba attack from the left flank found an unmarked Samuel Okechukwu who made no mistake in striking pass the Eagles Star goalie to give Enyimba the lead.
Shortly after going down the visitors came out of their shells and created a few golden chances but the Enyimba defense stood firm to prevent an equalizer, the first half ended 1-0 in favour of Enyimba FC.
The second half began almost as the first half ended with Eagles Star creating some chances in the first 10 minutes but the Enyimba defenders and goalkeeper lived up to the challenges.
A brilliant finish in the 63rd minute through Chidubem Ignatius saw Enyimba FC increase the tally. At the point of their 2 goals lead the Young Elephants almost totally took charge of the game as lots of scoring chances were created with some beautiful display of football.
In the 67th minute, Chidubem Ignatius bagged his brace and the third goal for the young Elephants with a thunderous strike that left the Eagles goalkeeper helpless.
In the 71st minute
Sokumbi Samuel converts from the spot to reduce the deficit for the visitors. Meanwhile their celebration was shortlived as Nathan Chinedu responded swiftly for the hosts with a left footed volley inside the area to restore Enyimba's 3-goal cushion in the 73rd minute.
In the 84th minute,
Sokunbi Samuel saw red with his second bookable offence as the visitors were reduced to 10.
The referee blew the final whistle to signal full time as the fixture ended 4-1 in favour of Enyimba FC
