The Mayor of Obingwa LGA Dr Eric Egwuibe has visited  His Royal Highness Eze Engr. Bede Onuigbo Nwaogwugwu  Eze-oha II of Ituahiafor Ukwu autonomous community in Obingwa LGA. This is in appreciation of their efforts in ensuring the emergence of the Labour Party in the State, 

The Mayor in his speech thanked the traditional ruler for his continued efforts in bringing progress to his community and he also thanked him for his efforts and support for Labour Party. 

 The Mayor also promised to maintain and build more synergy between the Community and the Government.

The traditional ruler on his part promised to work with all the directives of the Government to ensure that both the Mayor and His Excellency Dr.  Alex Chioma Otti  succeeds in the State, he also pledge maximum corporations of the Community to fast racks all the developmental projects which the Government has started and commended the Mayor for  honouring him with the visit. 

He also prayed for the success of this administration under the Government of Dr.  Alex Otti.

As part of identifying with his people, the Mayor as  spectator watched a novelty football match involving the Itungwa People Assembly selected sides, the novelty match was in honour of Sir Jap Onwunali a staunch member of Labour Party who is the secretary Obingwa Labour Party Stakeholders For and Fidelis Emezuo the coordinator OMIYF, President Uhie Labour Party Youth Forum  and secretary of Unity Palace.
