Falconets Nigeria on Saturday night sailed into the knockout stages of the world U20 women's football in Colombia with a 4-0 bashing of the Venezuelan babes.
Okwuchukwu proped up Amina Bello to score the opener in the 16th minute and Alani got Chiamaka Okwuchukwu who shoved in the 2nd goal in the 28th minute. Chuamaka's goal was her second in the tournament as she scored Nigeria's only goal against Germany in the 1-3 loss in the 88th minute.
Flourish Sebastine got Nigeria's 3rd goal in the 45 +5th minute. It was her lone strike that sank South Korea in Nigeria's 1-0 victory over the Asian country.
Just as the Nigerian bench was warming up for the victory parade, Ajakaye got Joy Igbokwe who came in for Flourish Sebastiane in 88th minute to top up Nigeria's goal for the night at the 90+4th minute.
Germany surprisingly bowed 0-1 to South Korea in the other Group D match.
Soo Jeon Park scored the South Korean goal in the 22nd minute via Jeon's assist.
Germany topped group D with 6 points and 4 goals difference; Nigeria is 2nd also with 6 points and 2 goals difference; South Korea came 3rd with 4 points and zero goals difference while Venezuela goes home with one point and -6 goals deficit.
At midnight today, group C 3rd round matches will be decided when USA faces Paraguay and Morocco will try to manipulate hi tech Japan.
At 2100 hours of tomorrow Sunday, Netherlands will try to crush North Korea and Argentina will tackle Costa Rica in group F.
