Nigerians have been described as hospitable, loving and accommodating. People by one of the European scouts, Egon Jacobus at the Mega Scouting programme organized by Best Talents Football Shino in conjunction with Sport and Kontinental Management held at University Ibadan Sports Complex, Awo.

The testimony was shared by Egon Jacobus against the backdrop of sensational news by some media outlets aggravating the spate of insecurity in Nigeria. The German said the news they read about Nigeria in Europe nearly pushed them off from coming to the country as they were initially scared only to meet different things entirely in Nigeria.

According to the globetrotter, the FIFA agent who works with Porto FC,.
Ex.FIfa Licensed Agent Egon Jacobus from Kontinental management who works with
a. Budapest Honved( Hungary),Fk Wien,(Austria),Slavis Praque, Sparta Praque, Teplice. ( Czech Republic) and Yaya Fayama( FC Porto scout) he said:

"The spate of negative and sensational news about Nigeria nearly discourage us from coming. We supposed to be more than this but for the scaring and sensational news about Nigeria that occupy media space in Europe scares others from coming. They withdraw from the trip at the last minutes due to pressure from family and friends not to put their life at risk in Nigeria. Even, since the time we landed here in Nigeria, some members of our family and friends have been calling us every now and then to know if we're still alive but we tell them that Nigerians are happy and good people and more hospitable than any other country in the world. What we are seeing here is against what we see on TV or read on media space in Europe". Jacobus affirmed

On the Scouting Programme proper, both Egon and Yahaya appreciated what they meet on ground in Ibadan and they assured  the players spotted that they will be properly and professionally handled.

"We have seen raw talents here and the players are good enough to play in Europe .With little exposure to modern day facilities, they will improve".

The German however jokinly added that: "I wish to be a Nigerian considering the love they show to us we will surely come back for more talents.".
