Big Brother Naija reality TV star, Vee, has joined the conversation on self-acceptance, encouraging others to embrace their natural beauty. In a heartfelt TikTok video, Vee emphasized the importance of loving oneself, unaffected by societal pressures or trolls.

Vee's message was inspired by Nigerian fashion designer, Veekee James', bold response to a troll who criticized her looks. Vee stressed that people who mock others' appearances often struggle with self-acceptance.

"Those who criticize others' looks secretly hate their own," Vee said. "Don't let them bring you down."

Vee shared her personal journey of self-acceptance, acknowledging it wasn't easy. However, she now sees herself as perfect, flaws and all.

"I'm a straight-bodied girl with no hips or curves. I've learned to accept myself over time," she said.

Vee urged her viewers to:  embrace their authenticity, reject societal pressure to change their appearance and focus on self-awareness and confidence

"Go outside without makeup, take off the filter. You're perfect the way you are," Vee concluded.
