Nigerian songstress Ayra Starr, renowned for her captivating voice, has revealed her relationship aspirations. In a candid conversation with American singer Coco Jones for Rolling Stone, Ayra Starr confessed that when she does start dating, it won't be with someone from the music industry.

"I'd want someone outside the industry, perhaps a billionaire on a yacht in Dubai," she joked, referencing a popular social media trend about living a stress-free life.

Ayra Starr emphasized that her high standards for relationships stem from her delayed entry into the dating world. "I'm grateful I didn't date before my music career. Now, I have lofty expectations. If they can't meet them, it's goodbye," she stated.

In a separate interview with Dazed Magazine, Ayra Starr expressed her desire for romance. "I want to fall in love," she said, referencing her song "Lagos Love Story," which imagines her ideal relationship.

Though self-described as a "lover girl," Ayra Starr acknowledged being single and never having been in a fully committed relationship. "I've been in situations, but never truly in love or committed," she clarified.

Ayra Starr's openness offers a glimpse into her personal life, showcasing her aspirations for love and relationships outside the music industry.
