In a significant stride towards addressing the complexities of climate change in the national security landscape, the Nigerian Army Signals Corps hosted a pivotal training workshop on “Climate Change and National Security.” The event, held at the General Gabriel Olonisakin Hall within the Nigerian Army School of Signal in Apapa, Lagos, brought together military personnel and environmental experts to explore the dynamic intersection of climate change and national security concerns. Akanmu from Lagos State University's School of Environmental Sciences, whose expertise offered valuable insights into the scientific and policy dimensions of climate change.
