Anambra FA Sponsors 15 Coaches To Free Coaching Course In Kaduna

No fewer than 15 football coaches from Anambra State are currently undergoing courses in Kaduna courtesy of Anambra State Football Association.
They are part of the over 300 coaches from across the country upgrading their knowledge or refreshing their skills in their coaching profession.
The coaching course is organised by the Abdul Sule led National Association of Nigerian Professional Footballers, NANPF, which has 'General' Chikelue Iloenyosi as its Board of Trustees, BoT, Chairman.
Iloenyosi spoke to Exclusivenews.com.ng, saying Anambra FA under his regime is determined to ensure that the state retained its status as the 'football hub of the nation.
"We brought expatriates to organise coaching clinic in Kaduna. It's going to be rotated across the states in country.
"This coaching course facilitated by Abdul Sule, President of NANPF and myself, the BoT Chairman. I made provision to bring 15 coaches from Anambra to be part of this exercise.
"Over 300 coaches are undergoing this course aimed at helping them upgrade themselves and update their coaching knowledge.
"This program is free of charge for them, without them paying any dime, including hotel accommodation.
"The current FA Chairman has continued to push Anambra State name to be coming up in football in the country. So, time is completely far gone when the state (Anambra) was being cheated.
"Anambra is in the limelight of football as the hub of football in the country", Iloenyosi sounded.
Similarly, the Chikelue Iloenyosi led Anambra State FA is attracting a bigger coaching course to Anambra State later this month.
This time, the Football Coaches Association of African Nations, FCAAN, Category E and F Coaching Course for football within and outside the state will be held in the state from May 25, 2024.
