President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration is gearing up for industrial revitalization and revolution, with a keen focus on job creation. Senator John Owan Enoh, the newly reassigned Honourable Minister of State for Trade and Investment (Industry), made this clear during his maiden engagement at the Ministry.
The Minister emphasized that President Tinubu intentionally appointed him to head the Industry arm due to his commitment to the country's industrial revolution. Upon resuming duties, Senator Owan Enoh was warmly received by the ministry staff, which he believed demonstrated their dedication to driving industrial growth .
Senator Owan Enoh stressed that the Ministry of Trade, Investment, and Industry functions as a unified entity, working towards stimulating economic growth and employment. He pointed out that increased industry contributions will directly impact the country's overall prosperity.
This initiative aligns with President Tinubu's vision to create 50 million jobs for Nigerians within eight years, as highlighted by Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment. The administration is already making strides in this direction, with investment commitments of at least $30 billion and counting.
