The speaker Abia House of Assembly Rt Hon Emmanuel Emeruwa has described the victory of Dr Alex Chioma otti at the supreme Court as the redemption of hope, rebirth of new Abia and symbolic reaffirmation of the people,s mandate.
Speaking while fielding questions from newsmen shortly after declaring Dr otti as the duely elected Governor of Abia state by the Apex court, Emeruwa applauded the jurists for being thorough, unbiased in addition to exhibiting judicious dispensation of justice and diligent adjudications which according to Emeruwa has significantly distinguished the judiciary as the hope of  the common man.

Emeruwa while appreciating Abians  for unwaveringly standing on the path of truth during the electoral processes that ushered in the present leadership in the state also urged all & sundry to embrace the victory as  an unchangeable will of God and the beauty of Democracy.
The No 1 state law maker further advised the opponents to close ranks with the administration of Dr otti noting that no meaningful development would take place in the spheres of political rancor and bitterness while he described Governor Otti as a Predestinated leader made by God to deliver the state from the agelong Socio-economic/infrastructural doldrums.

The law maker later thanked all labour party faithful, religious leaders, traditional rulers, Aba residents, all progressive minded persons and Abians at large for the fervent prayers while the legal onslaughts lasted and later on behalf of his family, Aba South constituents and the entire members of the 8th house congratulated the governor on his resounding victory at the supreme Court.
