The Confederation of African Football (CAF), in partnership with Football For Reform and the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), has achieved a groundbreaking milestone in social responsibility and empowerment through sports.

Led by FIFA Council Member and CAF Executive Committee Member Madam Isha Johansen, this pioneering initiative has awarded CAF D License coaching certificates to 25 female inmates at the Freetown Correctional Centre, marking a historic first.

This achievement symbolizes hope and a pathway to reintegration into society, demonstrating a strong commitment to gender empowerment, positive social change, and rehabilitation. Madam Johansen’s leadership and dedication to Football For Reform have been instrumental in driving this initiative forward, and her message has resonated deeply with the participants.
