One woman wey her name na Abigail Brains Timothy don enter serious wahala as Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for Ekiti arrest her say she scam one pastor and 65 other people of N195 million.

 

According to di NSCDC spokesperson for Ekiti, Afolabi Tolulope, di woman use lie say she fit help dem get visa and work permit abroad, but na pure scam she run.

 

Dem catch Abigail for Benin on May 25, 2025 after plenty people wey she chop their money begin report her.

 

She don already dey face court matter now as dem arraign her for obtaining money under false pretence.

 

Dem say Abigail use lie carry Pastor Adewusi and deceive am say she get correct connection wey fit help 65 people wey di pastor bring come as clients. She collect money small-small from am, say na for visa and work permit processing.

 

NSCDC talk say after dem arrest her, dem do better investigation through their State Intelligence and Investigation Department. Dem find out say di woman no get any real plan or way to do wetin she promise — na just to collect money she dey do.

 

After di investigation finish, dem carry di matter go court for Ado-Ekiti. Court don order make dem keep her for correctional centre until trial continue.

 

NSCDC talk say dem go continue to pursue cases like this well-well, and follow di law of Nigeria strictly. Dem also talk say dem go still dey protect life, property, and national assets like pipeline, mining sites, and others.

 

Di command also talk say dem get Peace and Conflict team wey dey ready to settle any issue between people wey gree to make peace.
