One woman wey nobody sabi her name don cause serious wahala for Lagos after she reportedly take Uber from Lekki go Panti Police Station to go report the sun, because, according to her, “the weather too hot.”

 

One X user, Olamide (@Olamide0fficial), talk say the woman insist say she wan file official complaint against the sun for disturbing her peace.

 

“This lady reportedly take Uber from Lekki go Panti to report the sun because the weather too hot, and she no gree pay the driver N15,000 for the ride,” Olamide yarn for X.

“One police officer even pay for her ride make she go house, but she still come back, say she wan rent apartment inside Panti.”

 

According to wetin happen, the Uber driver demand him N15,000 fare, but the woman refuse pay, talk say na the sun suppose pay because na e cause the problem. One police officer wey dey on duty later use him own money pay the Uber man to settle the matter.

 

After that, the woman still no gree comot for the station. She begin tell the officers say she wan rent one room inside Panti, talk say na there she go dey safe from the sun.

 

Police people wey no know how dem go take “charge” celestial body like the sun, quickly call the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development make dem come handle the matter.

 

The Ministry’s Rapid Rescue Team rush reach there after dem get tip from Instagram. Dem later carry the woman go one state rehabilitation centre, where she don dey receive medical and psychiatric care.

 

One officer for the station talk say when the woman first come, she look normal.

 

“She look well-dressed — fine gown, designer bag, makeup on point. But suddenly she point sky begin shout, ‘That thing up there no dey leave me alone!’ Na there we confuse. We no know whether to laugh or to cry,” the officer talk.

 

The Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Hon. Mobolaji Abubakre Ogunlende, hail the rescue team for quick response.

 

“Na this kind situation make we get 24/7 rescue unit. Mental health issue no dey announce itself. But quick report fit save person life,” he talk.

 

The Permanent Secretary, Pharm. (Mrs.) Toyin Oke-Osanyintolu, still use the opportunity remind Lagosians about their ‘See Something, Say Something’ campaign.

 

“One Instagram message save life today,” she talk. “No hesitate — if you see person wey dey act strange or need help, call 0913 205 5075. Your call fit be person second chance.”

 

Doctors for the rehab centre don confirm say the woman dey respond well to treatment. Her family don already get notice and dem dey on their way to Lagos.
