Wikki Tourists F.C. has formally declared its player, Isa Aliyu Ndala, Absent Without Official Leave (AWOL) after the footballer failed to return to the club following an approved trial period.

In an official statement released by the club, management said the player had been granted permission to attend professional trials from February 10 to February 28, 2026, in line with standard professional practices that allow players to explore opportunities while maintaining contractual obligations.

According to the statement, the trial period expired without the player reporting back to the team’s camp. The club also noted that multiple attempts to reach the player have so far been unsuccessful.

Club officials described the situation as a breach of contractual and professional responsibilities expected of all registered players representing the club.

As a result, the management of Wikki Tourists F.C. confirmed that it has formally notified the Nigeria Premier Football League and other relevant football authorities about the player’s status, in accordance with regulations governing player conduct and contractual compliance within Nigerian professional football.

The Bauchi-based club reiterated its commitment to professionalism, discipline, and the protection of its institutional integrity, emphasizing that preparations for ongoing football activities will continue uninterrupted.

Wikki Tourists FC also expressed appreciation to its supporters and stakeholders for their continued understanding and support as the club addresses the matter through the appropriate football authorities.
