Before traveling to India to attend G-20 Summit during the week, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu invited all the service chiefs and has held crucial meeting with them. 

The meeting which was second regular routine national security council meeting which was held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. 

In  attendance were by Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa; Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt-General Taoreed Lagbaja; Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, and Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla.

The meeting which is held behind closed doors, usually feeds the President on the general security situation in the country, including a review of areas where they (service chiefs) need to double effort as well as tie loose ends and close gaps.

Tinubu attended the G-20 Leaders Summit on the special invitation of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

The President also participate in and deliver keynote addresses at both the Nigeria-India Presidential Roundtable and the Nigeria-India Business Conference.

President Tinubu leverage on using the platform to attract global capital and promote increased foreign direct investments in key labour-intensive sectors of Nigeria’s economy for job creation and revenue expansion.

He used the opportunity to highlight Nigeria’s attractiveness as an investment destination, specifically outlining his cross-sectoral reform plan as encapsulated by the Renewed Hope Agenda.
