As preparations for matchweek 16 of the ongoing Southern Conference A NNL season intensifies, Coal City United's Striker Onyeka Ezigbo has expressed optimism over his team's readiness to suffocate visiting 1472 FC from Lagos in Enugu this weekend.
While speaking to Coal City United's media shortly after the team's training session today at the liberty training pitch, the gangling striker affirmed sheer optimism with regards the upcoming duel.
"I'm very confident that we are not going to let them express themselves here in Enugu, when you look at the level of preparations and the high spirit in the camp, you could see things for yourself that we are battle ready to scuttle every of their game plans. The 3 maximum points is already in the kitty for Coal City United, we are just waiting for the matchday to come, in all ramifications we are ready".
The towering striker whose brilliant brace saw off the challenge of local rivals Inter FC of Enugu in the Quarter finals of the state federation cup will be hoping to cap off another impressive display as the Enugu based outfit welcome the embattled visitors from the Centre of Excellence this weekend at the UNEC stadium Enugu.
