Nigeria and Bayer Leverkusen of Germany forward, Victor Boniface, has spoken of his readiness for Super Eagles 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Crocodiles of Lesotho billed for the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo,5pm Thursday, (today, Nov 16, 2023).

"I'm ready and focused", the stoutly built forward responded.

"We're determined, so tomorrow (today), we see what gonna happen", Bonica added, promising to give his 100% should Jose Peseiro give him the nod to make his fourth appearance for the Super Eagles.

"I'll try to do my best. I'll give my 100% so that we win the game. Winning the game and taking the three points is what's most important".

The 22-year-old who made his Super Eagles debut on September 10 when Nigeria trounced Sao Tome and Principe 6-0 in an AFCON qualifier, coming off the bench on 64th minute for Taiwo Awoniyi before providing an assist for Samuel Chukwueze remarked that the team has prepared well for the Lesotho showdown.

"We've prepared well having concluded training sessions, going into the game. It has been really good and every player is focused towards the game".

Boniface has scored seven times in ten games for his Bundesliga side, Bayer Leverkusen, this term. He already has three caps behind his belt as he beckons on fans to come in numbers to support the Eagles against Lesotho.

"Can't wait to see them at the stadium. We need their support", Boniface demanded.
