Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Ezeonu has criticized two young women who arrived at an audition in revealing, bra-less outfits.

In a video circulating on social media, the actress admonished the girls for their choice of clothing and warned that any future audition participant dressed inappropriately would be disqualified.

Ezeonu expressed her disapproval, stating that such appearances perpetuate the stereotype that actors lack seriousness.

She said: “Any other day I am on an audition table and I see a lady dressed like this, I will disqualify that person. How can you come to an audition ground without a bra? With your crop top up? It is wrong. Who are you trying to impress? That’s why people see us as people who are not serious.”

Ezeonu added that even in her youth, she maintained a professional appearance, emphasizing that serious actors should reflect professionalism in all aspects.
