Ibrahim Musa has been appointed as the new Head Coach of Universal Sports Centre U15 team, Doha, Qatar.

The youth coach sealed a 2-year deal.

Announcing his arrival, the team said, "Join us in welcoming Coach Mr. Musa to the Universal Sports Centre family! Get ready for a thrilling season of dedication and triumph. Let's support our new coach as we embark on this exciting journey together!" 

The young Nigerian/Sierra Leonean has a pedigree of youth development with his academy project - MHI Global Sports FC, a testimony.

It's a journey back abroad for former Abuja Football College coach, as he had a spell with Score Line Sports, Kerala India, where he won the youth league Cup.

Amongst other achievements, Coach Musa went 14 games unbeaten in the 2018-2019 All Indian Football Federation u18 C division championship and AIFF Baby League U9, and U13 competition.

As an assistant coach, he was part of the famous Abuja football college team that won the 2015 Champion at the 63rd Edition of Kvarnerska Rivijera U16 tournament in Rijeka, Croatia -  A team that later produced national u17 world champions namely, Kingsley Micheal, Orji okonkwo and many more.

Speaking to Timothy Aiyeku,  Coach Musa said, "This is a new challenge for me, and I am thrilled to impact and be a part of the great things to come out of Qatar in the near future."

Coach Musa brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new role with his history of nurturing young talents and fostering a winning mentality within the academy ranks.

He will undoubtedly be invaluable in shaping the next generation stars at the Universal Sports Centre.

Coach Musa was an assistant coach at Al-Gharbia Sport Club Abu Dhabi, UAE in the 2021/2022 season, before returning to Nigeria to become the coach of MD Football Academy Ogun state where he took them to 4th position in the international challenge cup, Morocco in 2022. 

He won the first Edition of the Abuja elite championship as the u16 head coach of the famous HB academy Abuja. He also served as the assistant coach of FC Bayern Munich world youth squad Abuja. 
Amongst several others in his 10 years coaching career.

He's currently obtaining his Masters Degree in Football Coaching and Analysis at the UCFB/Global Institute for Sports, USA, and holds a Bachelors degree in Public Administration.

He's also a candidate for the UEFA B coaching course coming up soon.

His rich CV also includes certifications from the English FA the FA level 1, the FA first aid in football, the FA safeguarding children, CAF C license, UEFA children safeguarding, Binary sports performance analysis, PFSA level 1 Opposition Analysis, individual Basic fundamentals from the famous MBP school of coaches and several others.
