Aba-based non-league side, Uchecaria FC, made a lasting impression at the recently concluded NALCOMA NNL Pre-season Tournament, also known as The Abia State Governor Pre-season Tournament.

Despite failing to advance beyond the group stage, "The Pearl Of The Niger" won praise from fans, opponents, and observers. Their opening match against EDEL FC of Nnewi ended in a 0-2 loss, but Uchecaria FC's spirited display earned commendations.

Young goalkeeper Prosper Chinedu stole the show with his impressive saves, drawing accolades from the crowd, opponents, and top NNL officials.

In their second and final game, Uchecaria FC faced experienced Abia Comets, ultimately losing 5-3. Despite the defeat, their resilient performance demonstrated their potential.
