A horrific incident has occurred in the Elebele Community of Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa State. Godwin, 22, allegedly stabbed his mother to death after failing to use her for ritual purposes.

Godwin had spent months in Benin City, Edo State, undergoing training at a notorious Yahoo boys' training center. Upon his return, his behavior became increasingly strange, and he claimed that his mother was holding back his destiny and wealth.

The Youth President of the Elebele Community, Comrade Precious Okala, confirmed the incident. Godwin has been taken into custody, and the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.

The Bayelsa State Police Command's Spokesman, Musa Mohammed, also confirmed the incident. The community is in shock and grief, highlighting the dangers of Yahoo culture.
