Tinubu Support Organisation  Reveals April Kickoff for Grassroots Football Programme

The Director of Football of the Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO), Bashir Badawiy, has announced that the preliminary stages of the Tinubu Support Organisation grassroots football programme will commence in April.

Badawiy, who also serves as the General Manager of Kwara United FC, made this known while addressing stakeholders in Abuja. According to him, states across the federation will be officially notified of the tournament’s kickoff immediately after the Ramadan month.

He explained that the competition will begin at the community level before progressing to the state stages, ensuring broad participation and grassroots inclusion.

“We just need to continue creating the needed awareness for now before the commencement of the tournament,” Badawiy stated.

Providing further details on the tournament structure, he noted that each state will produce a team to represent it at the zonal level. Winners will emerge from each zone to advance further in the competition.

“Each state will produce a team that will represent them at the Zonal level. Winner will emerge at every zone that will now represent the zone. Two states will represent each zone at the National finals of the tournament. We will have 12 teams to vie for the coveted trophy and prizes at the National final,” he concluded.

The Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO) is a dedicated movement of individuals and groups who believe in the vision and leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The group’s mission is to support policies, initiatives, and developmental programmes aligned with the “Renewed Hope” agenda aimed at fostering national growth and prosperity.

As a community of progressives, TSO promotes unity, good governance, and active citizen participation in nation-building. Through events, advocacy, and grassroots mobilisation initiatives such as the football tournament, the organisation seeks to encourage youth engagement while contributing to the development of sports and community integration across Nigeria.
