The highly anticipated Tinubu/Shettima Northern Grassroots Football Tournament 2025 is set to kick off on May 31st, 2025, bringing together 20 teams from across Northern Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

 

According to the tournament organizers, accreditation for participating teams will take place on May 28th, 2025, ahead of the main event. The competition aims to promote grassroots football development in the region and provide a platform for emerging talents to showcase their skills.

 

With 19 Northern teams and the inclusion of the FCT, the tournament is expected to be highly competitive, culminating in the crowning of one champion.
