President Bola Ahmed Tinubu don use joke take warn Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, make e no use e infrastructure work take give opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) upper hand for Abuja.

 

Tinubu talk dis one on Sunday when Wike lead FCT delegation come visit am for Eid-El-Fitr homage inside Presidential Banquet Hall, State House, Abuja.

 

Tinubu remember say Wike come beg am before, say make e help am shift TSA wahala so e fit do more work. But Tinubu use politics take reply am:

 

“I ask am, ‘If I allow dis thing, e go give my party chance to win election for FCT?’ I say, ‘Wike, I sabi where you dey come from, if dis thing favour PDP too much, you go lose your job.’

 

Wike come reply say, ‘Oga, we go arrange dat one.’”

 

Wike, wey be PDP big man before e join Tinubu APC government, don dey face wahala with e successor for Rivers, Governor Siminalayi Fubara. Tinubu even declare state of emergency for Rivers matter before dem suspend Fubara on March 18.

 

But Tinubu hail Wike say e don change Abuja well since e enter office. E say:

 

“Abandoned projects don come alive, Vice President residence wey dem abandon for years don wake up, health centres dey work again, teachers dey enjoy better buildings, security dey improve, and hunger dey reduce.”

 

Tinubu talk say Wike no be Hausa man, but e dey handle Abuja well, and na proof say diversity fit help Nigeria grow.

 

“Wike from South, but e dey run things for centre of North. Dis one show say if we use our diversity well, we go fit develop as one Nigeria,” Tinubu talk.
