Rangers teenage midfielder, Kazeem Ogunleye, has called time on his Coal City Flying Antelopes career after signing for FK Partizan of Albania, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

18-year-old Ogunleye joined Rangers from Plateau United prior to the start of the 2023/2024 domestic NPFL and scored eight goals and six assists in debut season for Rangers.

This season, Ogunleye has scored a goal and an assist before his departure to to Albania, making a total of nine goals and seven assists during his one and a half seasons Rangers career.

"Yes, Ogunleye has left for FK Partizan of Albania. He's been released by Rangers as his international documents have been signed, sealed and delivered", Rangers spokesman, Narberth Okonkwo said.

"There's a sell-on clause in the transfer agreement which gives Rangers 20% from the proceeds of his subsequent transfer.

"Rangers football family wish him the best in career in Europe", Okonkwo said.

Rangers are 5th on the league table with 41 points and will face relegation threatened Akwa United at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, on Sunday, in a matchday 28 fixture.
