Timi Dakolo Accuses Apostle Lazarus of Hypocrisy Over Ministry School Fees

The ongoing dispute between singer Timi Dakolo and Apostle Femi Lazarus has taken a new turn, with Dakolo making fresh claims against the Light Nation Church's founder. Dakolo alleged that Apostle Lazarus charges students $150 to attend his ministry school, which offers teachings about Jesus, with over 1,000 students reportedly enrolled.

Dakolo shared a screenshot of an email that allegedly disclosed the ministry school's fee structure, accusing the pastor of profiting from a gift and revelation that were given freely. He argued that if gospel artists who charge for their performances are considered "performers" rather than ministers, then Apostle Lazarus, who charges for his teachings, should also be considered a "merchant of hope" and a "performer."

Dakolo's accusations have sparked heated reactions from the public, with supporters on both sides weighing in on the matter. The controversy began when Apostle Lazarus criticized gospel musicians who request payment for their performances, stating that they should rely on God to meet their needs instead of focusing on financial gains. Dakolo responded by accusing pastors of manipulating gospel singers into offering their services for free.
