Day 3 of the 2025 Super Cup in Abuja delivered intense volleyball action on both the men’s and women’s courts, with closely contested encounters and dramatic five-set finishes thrilling fans at the venue.

 

In the men’s category, Nigeria Correctional Service pushed CNS Spikers to the limit in a pulsating contest that ended 3–2 in favour of CNS Spikers. CNS took early control by winning the first set 25–18 and edged a marathon second set 36–34. Nigeria Correctional Service responded strongly, claiming the third and fourth sets 25–22, 25–22 to force a decider. However, CNS Spikers showed greater composure in the fifth set, sealing the match with a convincing 15–8 win.

 

In another men’s encounter, Defence Spikers recorded a 3–1 victory over Life Camp. Defence Spikers dominated the opening sets, winning 25–19 and 25–21 before Life Camp rallied to take the third set 25–21. Defence Spikers, however, regrouped quickly and closed out the match in the fourth set with a 25–16 win.

 

The women’s category also produced a gripping five-set contest as Nigeria Customs Service edged COAS Spikers 3–2. COAS Spikers claimed the first set 25–21, but Customs responded by taking the second and third sets 25–19 and 25–15. COAS Spikers fought back to win the fourth set 25–23, forcing a decider. In the fifth set, Nigeria Customs Service maintained their momentum and secured victory with a 15–9 scoreline.

 

Day 3 of the 2025 Super Cup further underlined the competitiveness of the tournament, as teams continue to battle for supremacy in Abuja.
